Blaine took a deep breath before Kurt even began, bracing himself for the worst, but he wasn’t prepared for that. A kid. Kurt was a father? It didn’t make sense until he started to explain himself more. Blaine’s head felt like it was spinning from the new knowledge Kurt had just dropped onto him. “I…Wow…A kid.” Was all Blaine could muster. Part of him wanted to be angry or upset that Kurt hadn’t told him earlier, but then he realized there were parts of his life that he had yet to tell Kurt. “It doesn’t mean that, Kurt… So he’s three then? I uh… bet he’s a handful.” Blaine tried to offer Kurt a reassuring smile, even though inside he was still conflicted about what he had just learned. “Do you think… I could meet him? I mean I understand if you don’t want me to…”
Kurt bit his lip as he watched Blaine’s facial expressions change, he was searching for any sign that Blaine might be angry with him or that Blaine was planning on breaking up with him. He nodded at Blaine, tensing for his reaction, “Yeah, he’s three, he’s a handful but I love him anyway,” He relaxed a bit when Blaine smiled, although the smile seemed a bit strained. He nodded quickly, “Yeah, yes. I’d love it if you met him.” He said, smiling, “I’d really, really like that.” He bit his lip, happy Blaine was taking this so well.
